Back for its 12th successful year, the KINOTEKA Polish Film Festival returns for a bumper month-long edition, bringing a five-week celebration of the best of Polish cinema, music and visual arts to audiences across London and the UK.

The backbone of this year’s festival programme is a retrospective of the artist and filmmaker Walerian Borowczyk and his prolific body of work, focusing on his artwork, early shorts, groundbreaking animation and live-action features, many of which have been rarely or never seen in the UK. The Walerian Borowczyk retrospect ive programme and events, developed in collaboration with Daniel Bird, runs at BFI Southbank and the ICA throughout May and June.
